We collect information you provide directly, including name, email, phone number, date of birth, emergency contact, skill level, US Chess ID, waiver acceptance, code of conduct acceptance, event registrations, and membership selections. We may also store payment status and Square identifiers returned by Square.
How We Use Information
We use this information to manage accounts, event registrations, tournament operations, check-in, membership status, payments, safety needs, customer support, and club communications.
Payments
Payments are processed through Square-hosted checkout. Knight's Gambit Chess does not collect or store full card numbers. Square may process payment information according to its own privacy and security policies.
Youth Participants
For youth activities, we may collect parent or guardian contact information, date of birth, emergency contact information, and waiver confirmations so staff can operate events safely.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to operate the club, including hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and event administration tools, or when required by law.
Retention And Requests
